In the first half of 2010 the Norwegian-Russian Business Conference (NRBC) represented a milestone in our activities. In the second half, another new initiative in the development of Norwegian-Russian business relations will be launched, - the first NRCC Networking Arena North Event in Arkhangelsk . The networking event is scheduled to take place on the 16th of September in the former Pomor strong point, - with opening speeches by H.E. the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Norway and the Governor of Arkhangelsk County. In addition various other activities will take place, and we refer to separate member information.
The first NRCC Event after holidays, however, is our NRCC Networking Event in Oslo on the 7th of September, where a macroeconomic status of the Russian Federation and the first Norwegian social-science research program on Russia (NORRUSS) will be presented. For detailed information about the whole networking program, we refer to separate member information later to be mailed our members by direct mail.
On the 30th of September the final meeting in Networking Arena North in 2010 will be organized in Murmansk. This is a day prior to the 2nd International Murmansk Economic Forum, and we look forward to see many of our also southern Norwegian members in Murmansk. Last year’s Economic Forum was really worth a visit, and we do hope this year’s event will be followed up by the local organizers.
Regarding further NRCC organized events in St Petersburg, many of our members have taken part in the International Summit in St Petersburg, and several other larger business events are to be organized in September (please see e-letter) where we expect many members to take part. We therefore will revert to more concrete dates for the remaining NRCC events in 2010 until after summer holidays.
The NRCC Administration wishes all our members a relaxing and nice summer holiday. We look forward to see you again on the 7th of September in Oslo.
