Telenor has invested around $1.2 billion in Russian telecoms during a period of almost 15 years. Telenor holds the number one position

A-pressen has followed the Russian media market since 1996 with a view to establish a profitable media business. The first investment was made in 1999. A-pressen has put considerable effort into establishing productive relationships with Russian partners.
Untill mid 2007, A-pressen has held stocks in five newspapers in Russia, among those, Komsomolskaya Pravda, the biggest national daily in Russia. In 2007 the company sold all the stocks in the newspapers, and concentrated on printing business instead. Presently, A-Pressen owns six printing houses in Russia and plans further considerable investments in this area.
