Status
Norwegian-Russian Chamber of Commerce is organised as an association based on membership. The member fee covers the costs in connection with implementation of the various activities offered to the NRCC members.

Membership conditions
Membership in the Norwegian-Russian Chamber of Commerce is open to companies, which are registered in Norway or in Russia and are involved in or intend to become involved in bilateral Norwegian-Russian trade or projects. Also non-commercial organizations and institutions can become members of the NRCC as well as individuals with a personal interest in the respective markets.

To apply for membership, fill in an application form on our website focusing on your company's engagement in Norway or in Russia accordingly and services you wish to offer. In case of positive decision on your membership, this content will be added to the Member Directory of the NRCC and used for promotional purposes to various organizations, institutions, companies and authorities both in the Russian Federation and in Norway.

Accept, renewal and cancellation of membership
All membership applications are considered by the NRCC Board which may approve or reject those. The decision is forwarded to the applicant. In case of positive decision, you will receive an information package and an invoice stipulating your annual membership fee. The fee shall be paid in full within two weeks after the receipt of the invoice.

To ensure the stable flow of activities and offers for the members, NRCC Membership is valid on a calender year basis with automatic renewal every new calender year. Cancellation of NRCC membership shall be sent to NRCC administration in written (by e-mail or post) not later than three months before the next calender year. The final cancellation deadline is October 1. In case the cancellation notice is received by the NRCC before the deadline, the membership of the applicant will be cancelled from the 1st of January the following year.

Fees

Fee categories are set according to company turnover. For companies with domestic parent company, the fee is based on group consolidated turnover. For Norwegian companies with non-Norwegian parent company, the fee is based on the turnover of the Norwegian company (and its subsidiaries).
For a Norwegian owned daughter company located in Russia, the member fee shall be fixed on the basis of turnover level of the Russia based daughter company only if the business activity of the daughter company is defined to be outside of the core/main business activity of the mother company.

Please note, that the membership fee is valid for a calender year, in other words, from the date of the Board's decision and untill 31 of December of the actual year.

For the year of 2010 the Board of the NRCC has approved the following rates of membership fees:

• Organizations: 11.500 NOK
  
• Individual membership: 5.500 NOK
• Pensioners: 1.000 NOK
• Students: 1.000 NOK

NEW: When joining in after June new applicants are paying only 50 % of the Annual Fee with membership valid until December 31 of the current year. All other conditions about cancellation and renewal apply in full.
