Statoil ASA

Statoil ASA (before November 1, 2009 - StatoilHydro) was established on 1 October 2007 following the merger between Statoil and Hydro’s oil and gas activities. Per January 2008 it employs 31,000 employees in 40 countries. Market capitalisation of the company is worth more than NOK 500 billion. Production averages over 1.7 million barrels of oil equivalent per day, while proven reserves are more than 6 billion barrels of oil equivalent. The company today is:
