Seminars & Courses

NRCC organizes specialized courses and seminars about the Russian and Norwegian society and market. Some of the seminars are organized in cooperation with Russian and Norwegian partners. Non-members are also invited to seminars, however, for a non-member participation fee. Seminar, courses and ad-hoc events are also organized in regional Norway, in cooperation with various partners.

NRCC offers members and non-members,  in-depth courses about the Russian and Norwegian market on the basis of paid services.

NRCC members are entitled to discounts in connection with participartipation in seminars and courses which requires fee contribution.

NRCC Maritime seminar in Murmansk on 21 March 2017

On 21 March, the NRCC and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Murmansk region conducted a maritime seminar in connection with the visit of the “Ålesund Maritime Cluster”.
This is part of a NRCC maritime development program for designated companies in order to strengthen and enforce the ties between the Norwegian and Russian maritime industry. Special focus: Renewal of Russian fishing fleet.

The program is supported by Innovation Norway, and will continue in Russia Far East, St. Petersburg/Leningrad Oblast and Kaliningrad.

NRCC Aquaculture Workshop in St. Petersburg, 15 February 2017

Norwegian-Russian Chamber of Commerce’s Aquaculture Workshop focusing on bilateral commercial discussions took place on 15 February 2017 in St. Petersburg. The event has gathered 130 participants working in aquaculture sector of Norway and Russia. Heidi Olufsen, Consul General of Norway to Saint Petersburg, has opened the workshop with welcome greeting. During the workshop, various topics concerning fish farming, fish health and developing of aquaculture technologies have been discussed by speakers both from Norway and Russia. Two practical test cases, prepared by Norwegian companies Inocap and AquaOptima, have been discussed with the audience. The focus was on practical turn-key solutions (from financing and planning stage to implementation and production phase) that Norwegian companies offer to Russian fish farmers. Speakers and audience had lively discussions after each presentation.

NRCC & GCE Blue Maritime Russia Seminar in Ålesund:  Market opportunities for the maritime industry  in the Russian Market

On 3 December the NRCC in cooperation with Global Center of Expertise - Blue Maritime organized a seminar "Market opportunities for the maritime industry in the Russian Market ". A solid number of 40 companies took part in the event at Aalesund University College in Ålesund. 

News portal about economics and business in Sunnmøre and Nordfjord districts ( took two interviews with participants of the seminar: Rolf Fiskerstrand, Managing Director of Fiskerstrand Holding AS, and Rune Methi, Communications Manager of NRCC. Interviews are in Norwegian.

NRCC & INSOK Russia Seminar was held in Stavanger on 13 October: “Still business opportunities for Norwegian enterprises in the Russian Oil & Gas market”

Solid participation at Russia seminar in Stavanger, where representatives from companies working in the oil and gas idustry field, as well as Norwegian and Russian officials, gathered to discuss relevant issues. The meeting was held at Måltidets Hus. NRCC organized the seminar in close cooperation with INTSOK.
Informative lectures were followed by lively discussions and informal networking sessions. Doing business in Russia 2015

We are happy to inform you that NRCC together with St. Petersburg State University of Trade and Economics and the Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise (NHO) are inviting you to participate in the International Management Training Program “Doing Business in Russia” in St. Petersburg.

The program has been very successful, and previous participants have been very satisfied with the content and results from this program. The program for November 2015 will be sent to potential participants later.

Program content:

Theory lessons about Russian economy, leadership and Russian business culture. We offer individual B2B meetings with representatives from Russian businesses within relevant sectors of the participating companies.

The training program is to find place in November 2015 in St. Petersburg. Exact date is still to be confirmed.
