Networking meeting in Murmansk, March 17, 2015

On March 17th, the NRCC Networking Meeting in cooperation with FIBA and North CCI took place in Murmansk, in the facilities of Hotel Park Inn Poliarnie Zori. About 70 participants took part in the meeting

Minister of Economical Development Ms. Elena Tikhonova, Murmansk Region

The meeting was opened by presentation Measures for economic & industrial growth in the Murmansk region, given by Ms. Elena Tikhonova, the Minister of Economical Development of Murmansk Region.

The second speaker, Mr. Ole A. Lindeman, Consul General of Norwegian Consulate General in Murmansk, discussed perspectives on Norwegian-Russian business cooperation in the High North. 

Next presentation was given by Mr. Christen Mordal, Executive Business Developer from the company AKVA group. Mr. Mordal has informed meeting participants of the meeting about AKVA group's activities in North-West Russia. 

Mr. Torleif Paasche, Project Manager of The Norwegian Fishermen's Association, has discussed challenges for Russian and Norwegian fishermen in the North. 

Next, Mr. Ulrich Kreuzenbeck, Head of Foreign Investors Business Association (FIBA) updated participants on FIBA's projects in 2015. Mr. Jarle Forbord, Managing Director of the NRCC, presented the Chamber's activities and outlook for 2015. 

At the end of the meeting, the Murmansk Regional Administration, Norwegian Consulate General in Murmansk and NRCC/FIBA/NCCI have invited participants to the networking session with refreshments.
